Class Description

Our Bachelor of Biblical and General Studies program is designed to provide students with a broad-based education that combines biblical and theological studies with a range of other disciplines, such as history, philosophy, and literature.

COURSE TITLE: Biblical and General Studies

This course provides an overview of the Bachelor of Biblical and General Studies program, its purpose, and its goals. Students will explore the connections between biblical and theological studies and other disciplines and will begin to develop critical thinking skills and the ability to integrate faith and learning.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

  • To introduce students to the Bachelor of Biblical and General Studies program and its objectives
  • To help students develop critical thinking skills and the ability to integrate faith and learning
  • To provide an overview of the various disciplines that make up the program, and how they relate to biblical and theological studies
  • To provide an introduction to basic principles of biblical interpretation and application
